Word Of Mouse

We thougth we'd start at home and began by sampling this wonderful hop-encrusted hereford hard cheese, bought from our favourite local cheese shop 'the mouse trap' on Church Street.

We took it with us carefully wrapped up in our panniers and brought it out to bring a little joy to our first campsite meal in Berry hill. That's where things went wrong (well as far as cheese reviewing goes). No, it wasn't a little mouse that got in and ate our fabulous sample, worse than that we had it but were unable to appreciate it because of our stinking colds. still, it had a great texture and we know it tastes delightful, but perhaps a full review had better wait until our return, unless somebody else is in Hereford and fancies adding their bit?...
