Now we're talking. A softish pale coloured cheese, wrapped in wild garlic leaves. Very tasty.

Cornish Yarg

Yarg cheese is made in two varieties exclusively at a single dairy a few miles inland from Plymouth. You referred to the Wild Garlic version. Original Yarg cheese is coated in nettle leaves. The dairy pays local children to supply them with the leaves.

Did you know how Yarg gets its name? The owners of the dairy are called 'Gray'. They simply reversed the letters!

I always told you I'm full of  ... useless information!

mmm

thanks Bruce - its always good to hear such information. That will make the next yarg even tastier.
